Nicole Dane is a second generation (or first, depending on your definition of generations based on naturalization) Filipino American, textile designer, and handweaver. Her work explores the liminal space between being an American and not quite Filipino, the yearning for culture, and how that conversation can be represented through cloth and symbol. Nicole graduated with a BFA from the University of North Texas in 2014 and has been working full time as a Textile Designer for Perennials Fabrics.
